Summer Reading Theme Announced! June 23rd - August 11th: Catch the Summer Reading Bug! Register by calling (724 745-4300) or coming in, and join us on Mondays for one of the Summer Reading groups. Children of all ages are welcome, and we'd love to have you join us for this free, fun session filled with stories, crafts, and snacks. Please note, the following ages and times are flexible - feel free to choose the one that best suits your schedule! Ages 2-4: 10:30 - 11:30 Once again this year, we'll also be offering a variety of related programs (brought to you by the Carnegie Science Center). Registration is limited for these FREE special programs, so be sure to get signed up early! Wednesday, July 9th: 6-7pm Creepy Crawly - Learn all about bugs! Build a bug house to start your own bug collection. Make bug snacks and learn about the life cycle of insects. Wednesday, August 6th: 6-7pm Worms - Explore the wonderful world of worms! Using live worms, find out how these recyclers and composters keep our soil healthy. Tuesday, July 29th: It's Library Night at PNC Park (game time 7:05pm) Stop in to get the form that entitles you to buy general admission tickets for only $6.00 and watch the Pirates play the Colorado Rockies. A limited number of pairs of tickets will be given away to Summer Reading Club participants, thanks to the generosity of our Friends group! Wednesday, August 13th. It's Summer Reading Club Night at the Washington Wild Things ballpark (game time 7:05pm) Stop in to get the form that entitles you to buy general admission tickets for only $5.00. A limited number of pairs of tickets will be given away to Summer Reading Club participants (also with thanks to the Friends)!
